In 2025, I completed three months of my mandatory civilian service at Solidaritätsnetz Ostschweiz.
The work was varied: job applications, everyday questions, complicated forms. People's stories were often difficult, hard to grasp, and left me feeling powerless.
During this time I learned a lot: about Switzerland's asylum system, about responsibility, empathy, and perseverance.
As part of the "Action Days Against Racism," we put together a small exhibition with portraits and texts about people and their stories.
